Community Unity: Cornerstone's Halloween Boutique and 'Coats for Kids' Event

Updated: Apr 2

Yet again, the Cornerstone Halloween Boutique witnessed an incredible turnout this year, and it was a heartwarming display of community spirit. In the spirit of Halloween, Cornerstone had the pleasure of distributing 220 child and adult costumes, all free of charge. As a special treat for our furry friends, we also handed out 23 dog costumes. The joy on the faces of children and their parents as they picked out their costumes was truly heartening. It was a beautiful moment, where families came together to share in the excitement of Halloween.

Cornerstone extends our heartfelt gratitude to the generous members of our community for their kind donations. It is your support and the dedication of our volunteers that continue to make our programs a resounding success.

Furthermore, we were honored to join forces once again with the Knights of Columbus, Council #4122, who generously distributed 96 free coats as part of their 'Coats for Kids' program. Councils from across North America unite for this noble cause, which aims to ensure that children stay warm during the winter when their families may lack the means to provide adequate winter clothing. A warm coat is not just a piece of clothing; it is a ticket for a child to attend school, participate in after-school programs, connect with their peers, and enjoy the simple pleasures of childhood. The Knights of Columbus have made it their mission to alleviate this small yet significant burden for families in need, and for that, Cornerstone expresses our heartfelt appreciation for their commendable efforts.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
